Certified specialists 1

MATRIZ certification is divided into five levels of knowledge and skills. Levels 1-3 (Practitioner) cover all the knowledge included in the program officially approved by MATRIZ. Levels 4 and 5 are reserved for TRIZ experts who can demonstrate proficiency in using the method within an innovation project (Level 4 Specialist) or have contributed to the development of TRIZ (Level 5 Master).

Certificates do not have an expiration date; becoming a TRIZ specialist is a lifetime achievement.

All certified TRIZ specialists, categorized by levels, are listed in the database below.

Level 1-3 certification

A Level 3 Practitioner should be proficient in all modern tools from the MATRIZ program and be able to effectively solve problems and participate in the innovation process. To gain this knowledge in detail, we recommend attending training sessions conducted by accredited representatives.
Certificates are awarded to candidates who demonstrate knowledge and the ability to use TRIZ tools during an exam, which is usually written. Exam results can only be verified by an accredited MATRIZ trainer.
It is not necessary to have a lower-level certificate to take the Level 2 or 3 exam.

Accredited Representative

Only CEM Representatives with the appropriate accreditation can conduct MATRIZ certification for levels 1-3.
To become an Accredited CEM Representative, one must be a member of an active MATRIZ member organization and hold a certification at one of levels 3-5.
A candidate can apply for accreditation to certify at levels at least two degrees lower than their own one, i.e. an L3 Practitioner can certify at level 1, an L4 Specialist can certify at levels 1 and 2, and an L5 Master can certify at levels 1, 2, and 3.
Accreditation is valid for 2 years. The decision to grant or renew the accreditation is made by the CEM Chairman based on the votes of the members and with the consent of the MATRIZ President. To both obtain and extend accreditation, the candidate must submit appropriate documents and pay a fee. Here, you can find the regulations including the list of required documents. TRIZ Champion 4

Development, application and deployment of every methodology or an approach require different talents. And especially TRIZ, which is one of the most creative methodologies of all. We need creative thinkers in the form of scientists, engineers, technology innovators, business entrepreneurs, artists, writers and illustrators, designers, inventors, educators. Those with the ability to “think outside of the box” will lead the future and make special things happen.
While proficiency in development and usage of the TRIZ methodology is recognized by MATRIZ in its certification system, the title of TRIZ Champion is intended to honor the individuals who significantly contributed to TRIZ deployment worldwide by their educational, organizational and promotional efforts.
