The 18th annual #TRIZfest conference took place in the vibrant city of Bengaluru, India, marking a significant milestone in the world of TRIZ. This year’s conference was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of all involved.
A heartfelt thanks to @Mr. Tito Kishan for his invaluable efforts in co-organizing the conference in partnership with #MATRIZ, ensuring its seamless execution and to ATTI (@TRIZ and Technical Innovation Trust) India’s regional MATRIZ Association as the co-host for TRIZfest 2023.

- 18th TRIZfest: TRIZfest-2023 proudly celebrated its 18th year, solidifying its position as a premier event in the field of TRIZ.
Keynote Speakers: Special gratitude to our esteemed keynote speakers, Mr. Jai Hak Kim and Valeriy Prushinsky, who enlightened and inspired us with their profound insights. - Recognition: The conference started off by recognizing the “TRIZ Champions” Dr. Gopichand Katragadda and Dr. Alicja Adamczak. The MATRIZ President handed over the special awards to the leadership of TVS Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra for their outstanding contributions of TRIZ deployment with huge impact.
- Location: The conference was hosted in the culturally rich and technologically advanced city of Bengaluru, India, providing a perfect backdrop for the exchange of innovative ideas.

- Participants: The event saw an impressive turnout with over 60 participants attending pre-conference workshops and an additional 90+ participants joining the main conference in person and over 20 people online from other countries. The enthusiasm of the attendees was truly remarkable.
- Local Expertise: Notably, the majority of case studies presented at the conference were conducted by local TRIZ teams at Levels 1, 2 & 3 highlighting the increasing proficiency and contribution of Indian TRIZ practitioners. We had 10 TRIZ case studies covering various TRIZ tool applications including ARIZ.
- Industry leadership participation: Many industry leaders participated in TRIZfest to share their valuable insights in the various panel discussions: CTO panel discussion, TRIZ for Sustainability and Innovation. The panel discussion on Building innovation capability in Academia, Start-up, MSME, Corporate and Government labs was well received as it addressed various verticals of Indian society. TRIZ Masters shared global best practices, do’s and don’ts for effective TRIZ deployment with huge impact.
- Enterprise Engagement: The conference witnessed active participation from local enterprise manufacturing companies’ R&D teams, global R&D centers, reflecting the practical relevance and adoption of TRIZ principles in the industry.
- -First-Ever Exhibition: A historic moment for TRIZfest was the inauguration of the first-ever exhibition featuring local product manufactured by TVS Motors, Platinum Sponsor. This addition added a practical dimension to the conference, showcasing the tangible impact of TRIZ methodologies.
